Testing your Credit Card Reader

Solution

If you believe that you may be having issues with your Credit Card Reader, please do the following to check:

1) Unplug your CC Reader from your USB Port

2) Open up the Notepad in your Start Menu/Accessories

3) Plug the CC Reader back in

4) Run one of your cards (This will not process any payment)

5) If the information appears on the screen then your CC is working fine

6) Unplug the Reader, close the Notepad and plug the Reader back in...It's ready to use.
