How to refund or void a credit card transaction
If within 24 hours (same day), you will void the transaction. If more than 24 hrs (next day). you will refund the payment amount.
1. Go to the date of service on the calendar and click on the P button for the appointment
2. You will then follow the same process as if taking a payment, but you will select the Void radio button.
a. Insert the amount in the top box, then select electronic payments, then you will see a Void radio button.
3. You will do the same thing for Refund, but select the Refund radio.
a. Insert the amount in the top box, then select electronic payments, then you will see a Refund radio button.
*TransFirst merchant accounts will need to process as a Refund. The Void option will not be available.
